Wahlberg's a Hollywood star

Mark Wahlberg has been awarded his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 39-year-old, who used to be a rapper and underwear model, was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for The Departed four years ago.

Will Ferrell, who stars with Wahlberg in The Other Guys, out next week, was on hand for the ceremony.

Wahlberg's star is the 2,414th star on the Walk of Fame.
