Pet or partner?
One in five women spend more time talking to their pets than their partners.
That's the finding of a survey by dog food specialist Burgess Supadog Sensitive. They spoke to 2,000 female dog owners and it revealed 18 per cent chat to their dogs more frequently than their husbands or boyfriends.
Other findings included:
- 42% take time off work to nurse sick animals
- 34% leave the radio or television set on to keep their pets company.
