A whopping 79% of women lie to their friends and family about the real reason they can’t go out on the town.

The poll shows women are choosing pyjamas over Pinot simply because they just want to watch their favourite TV show!!

Of the 2000 British women surveyed, the top excuses made to friends and family to secure a Saturday night in were:

• Fake illness (60%)
• Can’t afford it (46%)
• Having to work late (34%)
• Doctor’s appointment (26%)
• Babysitter problems (10%)
• Unwell pet (4%)

 Additional findings include:

A quarter (24%) of women surveyed average 5 nights at home per week while Nearly two-thirds (64%) of women admit they'd be embarrassed to be seen in the clothes that they wear behind closed doors.
