Twenty-somethings

British people have the most fulfilling moments of their life in their twenties, according to a survey.

Having one's first child (33%) was rated as the most significant life moment, ahead of getting married (24%) and leaving home for the first time (16%), the research found.

The average British person was found to have their first child at 27, get married at 25 and leave home at 20.

These factors led to almost one in three people (29%) feeling more content in their twenties than any other age bracket.
