British people have the most fulfilling moments of their life in their twenties, according to a survey.

Having one's first child (33%) was rated as the most significant life moment, ahead of getting married (24%) and leaving home for the first time (16%), the research found.

The average British person was found to have their first child at 27, get married at 25 and leave home at 20.
