Watch this clever use of stop animation used by a man proposing to his girlfriend.

Filmmaker Walt Thompson, from Atlanta, Georgia, spent a few days on the project, taking over 2,600 photos of a Lego couple to create the film.

Mr Thompson, 29, condensed the images down into just over three minutes of footage to propose to food writer  Nealey Dozier, 28.

He even went so far as to find a lego character that was wearing similar clothes to the first day they met and the story chronicles their first meeting up to the present day.
