Monkey business

A troop of monkeys at a UK safari park have been given their very own Mercedes -- to prepare them for the re-opening of their enclosure to cars.

Longleat Safari Park's Monkey Jungle has been closed for the past two years, it will soon be reopened, and keepers say they wanted to ensure their macaques were prepared.

So that's where the car comes in. They parked an old Mercedes in the enclosure and the 100 Rhesus monkeys got straight to what they do best - causing mayhem.

They opened suitcases, took clothes and cuddly toys, jumped on the bonnet, pinched wing mirrors and rolled hubcaps gleefully away to play with...cheeky monkeys!

I love monkeys and thought this was just how they should behave, naughty, I have a pet, a lab dog and he nicks anything in sight just to get attention and barks until someone takes things off him. Hey, monkeys, have a banana.
i am sure they will have a lovely time with their keepers.
