Surfing World Record Holder Breaks World Record
Watch the incredible video of surfing champion Garrett McNamara ride a 90ft wave!
The surf was definitely up off the coast of Portugal on Monday.
The giant wave formed above an underwater canyon famous for generating some of the world's biggest waves.
American McNamara is no stranger to the spot and already hold the world-record wave of 78ft in November 2011.
Experts will now have to certify the new record.
'You are just going so fast,' McNamara told ABC television. 'You're just chattering, flying down this bumpy, bumpy, mountain. You're whole body is getting rattled.'
