Tour of Britain Cycle Race heads to Norfolk

The Tour of Britain Cycle Race is heading to East Anglia again …

The Tour of Britain, the UK’s biggest professional cycle race and largest free-to-spectate live sporting event, is returning for a second year to delight spectators on Sunday 9th September.

So we'll be getting ready to wave and cheer as dozens of the world’s top cyclists speed along the highways of Norfolk and Suffolk from Ipswich Waterfront to The Norfolk Showground! 

Especially as two of the biggest names in cycling are taking part! Tour de France winner and Olympic Gold Medal hero Bradley Wiggins will be riding and joining him will be world road race champion and fellow Olympian Mark Cavendish!

Ride the route for Charity on Saturday 8th September

Tour of Britain - NorfolkYou can take the challenge and actually ride the East Anglia stage whilst raising money for your chosen charity on 8th September, the day before the tour. 

There are two distance options; the Pro Ride is the full 200km from Ipswich to the Norfolk Showground while the Challenge Ride is half the distance 92km from Great Yarmouth to the Norfolk Showground. 

By signing up for the Tour Charity Ride you'll be entered into a prize draw to win hospitality at the start & end of stage one of the race on Sunday, a place in the guest car, a ticket to the cycle show as well as a host of cycling goodies!
