Arrests over Norfolk & Suffolk Robberies

Two people have been arrested in connection with robberies at stores in Norfolk and Suffolk.

A 29 year old man from the Bury St Edmunds area has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robberies in Norfolk and Suffolk, dangerous driving and failing to stop for a police officer and a 40 year old woman from Northampton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robberies in Norfolk and Suffolk and fraud by false representation.

The arrests are in relation to incidents, which happened at:

The Co-op store in Church Street, Sheringham in Norfolk at approximately 6.30am on Wednesday 8 August;

The Co-op store on the main road in Clenchwarton in Norfolk at 6.50am on Wednesday 22nd August; and

The village stores/post office store in High Street in Laxfield, Suffolk at around 6.15am on Wednesday 5 September.

The man and woman are being held in custody at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.
