Bawburgh Murder: Custody Extensions

Magistrates have authorised extensions of the custody time limit for two men arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 25-year-old man at the home of former Norfolk boxer Herbie Hide in Bawburgh at the weekend.

A 20-year-old man from the Norwich area and an 18-year-old man from the Norwich area remain in custody for further questioning by detectives.

The custody extensions expire at around midnight and 10am tomorrow (Friday 23 March) respectively.

A 16-year-old boy who was earlier arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Tafadzwa Kahn (known as Taffy) from St Giles Street, Norwich, died following an incident which occurred shortly after midnight at a private party being held at the property in Long Lane in the village.
