Buxton: Suspect Remains in Custody

Police have obtained a Warrant of Further Detention from a magistrate to question a 49-year old from Norwich for a further 30 hours.

A 25-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, both from Norwich, have also been arrested in connection with this incident and are in custody.

On Sunday, Police were called to Coltishall Road, in Buxton,  shortly after 11am to reports of a suspicious device found outside a property, underneath the informant’s car. This was safely taken away for forensic examination. It has not yet been established whether or not the device was capable of causing harm. Police believe this is an isolated incident relating to a specific individual, with no ongoing risk to members of the community.
