Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a bank in Norwich.

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a bank in Norwich.

The Norwich and Peterborough branch along Aylsham Road was targeted in the early hours this morning (Wednesday 13 June) where thieves had stolen a quantity of cash from a cash machine.

Officers were called to the bank 12.45am. A search of the area was carried out and a police barrier remains in place. 

Detectives want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this burglary. A dark saloon car was seen nearby at the time and officers also want to hear from anyone with any information about this vehicle.
