Crews Tackle Big Fire At Factory

Around thirty firefighters are still at the scene of a big fire at the Heinz Frozen Foods Factory in Worstead in Norfolk after being called there at around 6pm last night.

At one point more than 10 crews from across Norfolk as well as the ariel appliance were at the scene. Appliances from, Aylsham, Stalham, Wroxham, Mundesley, Cromer, Martham, North Walsham, Earlham, Norwich, Loddon, Gorleston plus the Hethersett Water Carrier, ALP from Earlham, Sprowston Chemical incident unit and the Control unit from Wymondham attended a the fire.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue say it was a well developed fire in an industrial fat fryer unit in a building.

No-one is thought to have been injured.
