Cromer: Joint Funeral Held For Cromer Shooting Couple

A joint funeral is going to be held today for a couple found shot dead in Cromer in Norfolk.

Police believe 58-year-old Keith Johnson killed his 44-year-old wife Andrea and then turned the gun on himself outside their home.

Mr Johnson was leader of North Norfolk District Council. He was found with the shotgun by his side and is thought to have made a telephone call to friends before taking his own life.

Despite the circumstances, Mrs Johnson's parents, John and Janice Chadwick, have said they feel ``no animosity'' towards Mr Johnson and their funerals will take place under the same roof.

The funeral will take place at Cromer Parish Church this afternoon before private burials.
