East: 'Months of Rain' Still Needed

Heart is being told that months of rain are still needed to bring an end of the drought conditions and the hose pipe ban.
The ban came in at the start of April to try and save water, but since then there have been days of showers across both counties.
Despite all of the rain, Anglian Water are telling Heart that although the rain does help the environment we are still a long way where we need to be at this time of year.
It is the first time such a ban has been put in place for around 20 years.
