A football fan who made racist comments on the internet has been given a lifetime ban from one of the region's grounds.

The man, who said he was a Norwich City supporter, was seen tweeting about new signing James Vaughan.

NCFC told Heart that other fans reported the comments made on social networking site Twitter.

After they looked into it they decided to impose a lifetime ban for the individual.

A spokesperson from the club said; "We have a no-tolerance approach to racism."

The comments have now been removed from the site.
