Girl Approached in Lowestoft

Police need to trace the driver of a dark coloured car who approached a nine-year-old girl who was out on her bike in Beckham Road in Lowestoft on Wednesday afternoon.

The girl was playing alone on her bike around 4.30pm when the man – described as white - approached in his vehicle and told her to get into the car. The girl cycled home immediately and reported the incident to her mum who contacted police. 

Officers are appealing for the driver of the vehicle, or anyone who may have seen the incident or who may have information about the man or the car, to call PC 1537 Wells at Lowestoft on 01986 835300.
