Great Yarmouth: Teen Left With Broken Arm In Lighter Attack

A teenager has been left with a broken arm after being assaulted on Marine Parade in Great Yarmouth after someone asked him for a lighter.

It happened on Friday 8 March at some point between midnight and 1am.

The victim, an 18 year old male, had been out during the evening of Thursday 7 March and had left Caesars nightclub  and had started to make his way home. A male approached him on Marine Parade and asked for a light. When the victim replied he didn't have one, he was then  punched in the face.

He then fell to the floor and was then set upon by the male who had spoken to him and two other others who kicked him whilst he was on the ground. The victim sustained a broken arm in the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw any suspicious activity or has knowledge of the incident should contact DC Holly Beavis at Great Yarmouth CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
