Twenty-four-year-old Todd Esherwood, of Saxon Road, Great Yarmouth and 29-year-old Tony Smith, of Sidney Close, Great Yarmouth, will appear at the town’s magistrates’ court this morning charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

It follows an incident which happened in the early hours on Saturday 5 May outside the Bricklayers Arms pub on Nelson Road Central.

A third man arrested in connection with the incident, a 23-year-old, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
