Ipswich: Woman Suffers Head Injuries After Being Hit By A Car

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was struck by a car in Ipswich yesterday evening (2nd January).

It happened on Nacton Road at the junction with Crane Boulevard at around 5:30pm. A Smart Fortwo collided with the woman, who is in her forties.

She was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with head, chest and pelvic injuries.
 
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the woman prior to the incident is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
