Lid lifted on thief found in bin

A shoplifter who hid from police in a bin in Great Yarmouth has been sentenced to 100 hours community service.

Its after 24 year old Igor Honts from Nelson Road North in Great Yarmouth stole a bottle of perfume from department store Palmers back in September.

Police found him hiding in a bin after CCTV found him fleeing through the town centre after stealing the Gucci Guilty perfume set.

He appeared in court on November 19th and admitted to three counts of shoplifting.

He was also charged with drug possession, fail to surrender to bail, going equipped for theft, and being in breach of a community order.

Honts was sentenced to a total of 100 hours community service.
