Police are appealing for information after an attempted armed robbery in Lowestoft last night.
At around 10pm a man entered Kerry's Mini Market on Stanley Street and demanded cash from the till, threatening the assistant with a gun.

He is described as white, of stocky build, 5 foot 10 inches tall and was wearing a black jacket, a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up, dark combat trousers, large black boots, white socks and white gloves. He was carrying a small black bag.
