Lowestoft: Four Arrested Over Fraud

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit fraud after a person's bank account was accessed.

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit fraud after police were called to a bank in London Road North in Lowestoft around 12.20pm on Thursday 29 November.

Staff alerted officers after becoming suspicious of two men trying to access another persons bank account. Police attended and arrested two men, a 27-year-old from north-west London and a 34-year-old from Cambridge - after seizing a counterfeit driving licence.

Two other men, a 32-year-old from Purfleet in Essex and a 30-year-old man from south-east London - were arrested in Grove Road after they were located by officers in a vehicle there.

All four were taken into custody and are currently being interviewed by officers in connection with this and another similar incident in Great Yarmouth on Friday.
