A 17-year-old boy has been jailed for four years after admitting a series of robberies in Lowestoft earlier this year.

The teenager, who can't be named because of his age, was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on Monday (7 April). It's after three young men were robbed at knife point between Thursday 13 and Saturday 15 February.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon and was given a four year jail term, an extended licence period of three years and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
