Man Detained Under Mental Health Act
A 58-year-old man who had been arrested on suspicion of murder after the discovery of a woman's body in a lake, is no longer under police arrest and has been detained under section 2 of the Mental Health Act.
The 58-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested after a woman’s body was discovered in Needham Lake on Sunday 20th February.
The body was found in the lake near Coddenham Road in Needham Market just before 8am on Sunday morning.
At 3.45pm on Sunday afternoon police attended Wissett Lake and a 58-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested on suspicion of murder.
