Man Assaulted At Norwich Train Station

A man's got facial injuries after being assaulted at Norwich Train Station.

Detectives from British Transport Police (BTP) are calling on the public's help with their investigation into an incident of assault on Saturday, 6 April.

Detective Constable Peter Sower, investigating officer, said: "The victim, a 29-year-old man from Norwich, had been out with friends and was at Norwich station car park around 10pm.

"The victim was approached by a man and woman, and he was assaulted by the man, causing injuries to his face and hands."

Police are following several lines of enquiry into the incident, including reviewing available CCTV footage. The man is described as being in his twenties, with a shaved head and wearing sportswear.

DC Sower continued: "This was a nasty assault on the victim, which left him with two fractures in his cheek.

"It is vital that we speak to anyone with information about the incident, including possible witnesses as I?m sure there would have been other people around at the time."
