Man Threatened With A Knife And Robbed

Police are investigating after a man was threatened with a knife and robbed after being followed by two men.

It happened on St Matthew's Road in Norwich two Saturday's ago, 5th February 2011, between 5.30pm and 5.45pm, when a 36-year-old man was followed by two men as he walked home from the city.

The men demanded money from the victim and threatened him with a knife.

The victim handed over a small amount of cash and the robbers, described as white men in their 20s, fled the scene towards Riverside Road.

One of the suspects is described as 6ft tall, of slim build with short fair hair and was wearing a grey hooded top with dark jeans. The second man is described as 5ft 4, tall, of stocky build with black medium length hair and was wearing a dark hooded top with jeans.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
