The woman who was found in the Norfolk Broads at the weekend has been identified as Annette Creegan, from Mitcham, Surrey.

The home office post-mortem has found that the 49-year old is likely to have died as a result of being strangled.

The male victim, who died as a result of drowning, will be named once further formal identification procedures have taken place.

Police continue to treat the deaths as a domestic incident and are not seeking anyone else in connection with it.
