Norfolk: Meerkat Proposal at Zoo
A couple have got engaged after popping the question in the meerkat pen at a Norfolk zoo.
Meerkat fan Karina Large got more than she bargained for when she visited Banham Zoo over the weekend with her boyfriend Adam Lock.
He had been looking for somewhere to propose, so decided to get help from the zoo's family of meerkats.
Martin Dupée, Head of Operations at Banham Zoo said 'Proposals are not common place in the zoo so this made it quite special for us too. We are so pleased for both Karina and Adam and wish them every happiness for the future.'
