The family of a teenager who died in a car crash last week have been paying tribute to him.

Matthew Meacham-Roberts was killed when his silver Peugeot was involved in a crash with a blue Citroen car at about 10am on Wednesday.

It happened on the B1150 North Walsham Road between the junction of Crostwick Lane, Spixworth and the Norwich Rugby Club.

Following the fatal road traffic collision the family of Matthew Meacham-Roberts have issued the following tribute:

“Matthew was so kind and generous, always smiling and always happy. He loved playing football and was a season ticket holder at Norwich City. He was always interested in the Army and seemed destined to be a soldier after studying public services at City College. He enjoyed working at McDonalds in Wroxham and had many good friends. He is very much missed and loved by both family and friends, and will be remembered as a wonderful young man full of promise for the future but lost too soon.”
