North Walsham: Man Injured In Disturbance

Detectives have started an investigation after a man suffered serious head injuries following an incident in North Walsham in the early hours of yesterday morning, Saturday 22nd September.

Officers were called to Vicarage Street shortly before 2am following reports of a disturbance in the road and that two men had been injured.

A 43-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and has been taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge for treatment while a 44-year-old man sustained an injury to his arm and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. 

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre where he will be questioned. The area has been sealed off by police while officers carry out their enquiries.
