Norwich: 81-year-old Kicked And Robbed In His Home

A man in his 80s has been kicked in the face by a man who broke into his home and robbed him.

It happened on Thursday at some point between 5pm and 5.30pm at a property on Drayton Road.

The 81-year-old man was asleep in his chair when he was woken by a man who was standing in front of him.

He was dressed all in black with a black balaclava over his face and kicked his elderly victim in the face.  He then went to the kitchen worktop where the victim's wallet was left and took it. He escaped by the back door.

The 81-year-old has cuts the face and was taken to the N & N hospital for treatment but has been released to recover from his injuries at home.
