Norwich: Appeal For Assault Information

Police in Norwich are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Thorpe St Andrew.

The unprovoked attack happened in the early hours of Saturday 12 May between 1.55am and 2.25am opposite Wherry Court on Yarmouth Road.

The victim, a 43-year-old man, was walking home after a night out when men travelling in a small silver car shouted at him as they drove past.

The car stopped and the victim was approached by about three men, believed to be aged in their 20s, who punched and kicked the victim. He suffered a black eye, swelling and a cut to his head.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
