Norwich: Armed Robbery At Shop

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a Norwich shop today.

Police were called at 11.35am to a convenience store on Angel Road. A man had entered the shop and threatened staff with a knife. There was a struggle but no-one was injured. The man cut the wires to the till and removed it, taking it outside and removing cash before leaving on a bicycle towards Constitution Hill.

The man is described as wearing a dark jacket with stripes on it, a hat and a balaclava.

Officers are now carrying out inquiries at the shop and a search of the area for the offender has been made.
