Norwich: Ex-Norwich footballer loses appeal over rape conviction
Ex-Norwich footballer Ched Evans has lost an appeal today over a conviction and jail sentence for rape.
The 23-year-old was at the Court of Appeal to fight a 5 year prison sentence for raping a woman in a hotel room in North Wales.
But today three judges have decided his conviction stands and his sentence will stay the same.
Yesterday nine people were made to pay compensation after being found guilty of naming the victim on Twitter and Facebook.
The £1.5 billion deal will also see new fleet rolled out across the network.
