Norwich: Landlord Attacked By 15 Men For Being Gay

A Norwich landlord who was attacked by 15 men for being gay has told Heart he won't let it change his life.

Jesse Charlebois, the landlord at The Kings pub on Kings Street, was attacked on Saturday night (21st December) at about 5:30pm. A group of 15 men, who are described as white and believed to be in their 20s and 30s, were asked to leave the premises.
Following an altercation with staff a fight broke out during which the men made homophobic remarks and three staff members were physically assaulted. All the staff were left with injuries such as facial cuts and bruises.
Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack or may have seen the group of men. You can contact Norwich CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
