Norwich: Six Injured By Falling Glass In Nightclub

Six people have been injured after a large pane of glass fell from the roof of a nightclub in Norwich.

Police have arrested a 22 year old man from Norwich after a shattered pane of glass fell on revellers in the Kertel nightclub on London Street.
 
He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated criminal damage and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning but has now been released on conditional bail until 9 January while enquiries continue. 

Police were called at just before 4am this morning on Sunday to a report that a large pane of glass in a conservatory roof had broken resulting in shards of glass falling on customers.
 
Six people who were customers at the club - three males, one of which was in his 30s, the other two in their 20s, and three females, who were all in their 20s, received non-life-threatening injuries, which are described as minor and superficial.

Five people were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for treatment but have now been released.
