Norwich: Thieves Target Charity Shop

Thieves have taken cash from a Charity shop in Norwich.

The Big C shop in Magdalen Street was broken into on Tuesday night.

The safe was stolen and police are looking for witnesses.

Norfolk Police told Heart: "Between 5:30pm on Tuesday 18 December and 8:15am on Wednesday 19 December 2012, offenders have forced their way into the rear of the Big C charity shop on Magdalen Street and stolen the shop's safe.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information concerning it should contact PC Darren Harper, Norwich East SNT, on 101.  Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
