Public Sector Strike Over Cuts

There's been protests in Norfolk and Suffolk today by striking teachers and public sector workers.

The walk-out is taking place because some are unhappy with changes being made to their pay and pensions. The government is planning to increase workers' contributions to the pension scheme and the number of years they'd have to work before they're able to claim that pension.

Around 200 schools in Suffolk were closed today or had their lessons cancelled, but schools in Norfolk already had the day off for the Royal Norfolk Show. Over England and Wales, up to half of schools are thought to be closed or partially closed.

There have been protests in Ipswich and Norwich today...
