Rackheath: Man Dies After Car Found In Wasteland

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on Wroxham Road in Rackheath.

At around 4.15am this morning, a blue Citroen Saxo travelling towards Wroxham left the road and went into wasteland near the Green Man pub. The male driver sadly died at the scene.

But the car couldn't be seen from the road and the emergency services weren't called until around midday. The road was closed until 4pm whilst a collision investigation got underway.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have seen the Citroen in the area beforehand.

Contact Sgt Matthew Price at Acle Roads Policing on 101.
