Salhouse: Five Injured In Car Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury road traffic collision in Salhouse.

Three vehicles – a silver VW Passat, a silver Kia Sedona and a blue Jaguar S-Type were in collision on the B1140 Bell Lane outside the Salhouse Lodge Inn at around 9.30pm last night, Wednesday 19 February 2014.
 
Five people were injured in the collision and four were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Three were from the VW – the male driver and a male passenger suffered more minor injuries but a second male passenger suffered life-threatening head and pelvic injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
 
The female driver of the Kia suffered serious chest, arm, pelvic and leg injuries, whilst the male driver of the Jaguar suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
 
The road was closed until 3.20am whilst a collision investigation got underway.
 
Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or saw the manner of driving of any of the vehicles beforehand.
