Sexual Assault Arrest Made

Detectives from Norfolk Police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a serious sexual assault in Norwich.

It happened overnight between Saturday 2 April and Sunday 3 April at a home in the King Street area.

The woman, in her 30s, was assaulted by a man who is then believed to have taken a taxi from the train station area of the city.

The arrested man is currently in custody awaiting questioning.

Police are keen to speak to any taxi drivers who may have picked up fare in the city at 7am on Sunday 3 April and travelled to the Wymondham area.
