Sprowston: One Person Dies In Late Night Crash

One person's died after a crash in Sprowston in Norwich last night.

Two others suffered minor injuries when the car crashed in foggy conditions around 11.15pm on Wroxham Road.

It's thought all those in the car are from the local area and police speaking to their next of kin before any more details about their identities are released.

Norfolk Police released the following statement to Heart this morning: "Police can confirm that one person has sadly died in a road traffic collision on the A1151 Wroxham Road, Norwich, late yesterday evening, Friday 28th March 2014.
"Wroxham Road was closed by Police in both directions between the  Mousehold Lane/Chartwell Road roundabout and Russell Avenue, following the collision which involved a single vehicle, that occurred at around 11:15pm. One person in the car was pronounced deceased at the scene, while two other occupants were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital with minor injuries.
"The A1151 Wroxham Road remained closed until 4:00am this morning while collision investigation work was carried out and the vehicle recovered."

Police are increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 15-year-old girl who went missing in the Kesgrave area on Thursday and are renewing their appeal to trace her.
