Suffolk: Woman Dies in Crash

A woman has died after her car left the road near Stowmarket in Suffolk.

The collision occurred just before 5pm on Forest Road, Onehouse near to Stowmarket when a red Daihatsu left the road and came to a stop in a ditch.

Fire, Ambulance and the Air Ambulance also attended but the female driver of the vehicle, who was in her seventies, sadly died on scene. 

The road was closed for a period of time for collision investigators and diversions were put in place. 

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
