Teenager robbed at knife point

A teenager has been robbed in a park at knife point.

The victim aged 19 was with a friend in Melton Park at around 9:30pm on Friday when the incident happened.

They were sitting on a bench near the pond when two males approached them one of which had assaulted the teenager and the other was holding a knife demanding to hand their stuff over to them. The 19 year old handed over his phone, a silver and black ipod, some tobacco and a lighter.

The victim had a cut on his finger, a cut on his eyebrow and bruising to his head in the incident.

The victim and his friend decided to walk back along Melton Road after the incident and they saw one of the males near the garage.

One of the men was described as around 5ft 8ins - 5ft 9ins tall, wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and his face partly covered with black material. The other was slightly taller and was wearing a white hooded top with a white t-shirt underneath and white tracksuit bottoms.
