Thetford: Woman arrested after stabbing

A womans been arrested after an incident in Thetford last night which left a man in a critical condition with stab wounds.

Police were called to Croxton Road in the town at 12.20am (Monday 19 March) to reports of a man there with serious injuries.

The victim, a 41 year old man, has been taken to Papworth hospital in Cambridgeshire for treatment. He is described as being in a critical but stable condition.

A 40 year old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where she will be questioned today.
