Thousands Use House Swap website After Welfare Reforms

Around two thousand more people in Norfolk and Suffolk have registered on a website to swap their council homes since changes to the benefits system were announced last year.

The House Exchange website is like a dating agency for houses where you can advertise yours to swap to one thats bigger - or smaller.

In Norfolk there has been a 180% increase in people registering their homes as being available for a swap.

In Suffolk its 120%
