Zumba World Record

You did it! You set a new World Zumba Record in Norwich and raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

A huge thanks to you, if you came down to the UEA Sportspark on Saturday 10 March 2012 to take part in the World's Longest Zumba Dance Record Attempt.

It was an amazing "feel good" day as over 500 energetic Zumba fans signed on to the continuous 1 hour sessions running from 8am to 9pm. They kept it going for more than 12 hours and that was enough to set the new world record.

Heart wishes to thank the organisers Sarah Jayne Yallop and Daisy Cavell, Zumba Instructors from Norwich, who said "We are absolutely thrilled with the brilliant support the event received – thank you".

And there is more good news – donations raised over £2000 for Childline, the UK’s free 24-hour helpline for children in danger or distress, as part of this year's Have a Heart Appeal.

Enjoy our galleries and video. And very many thanks again – we really appreciate it.
