Anxiang Du Trial: Jurors Sent Home For The Night

The jury in the trial of Anxiang Du, who is accused of murdering a family of four at their home in Northampton have this evening been sent home.

Du, 54, is accused of the murder of university lecturer Jeff Ding, his wife Helen and their two daughters Nancy and Alice on the day of the Royal Wedding - April 29th, 2011.

The trial began two weeks ago at Northampton Crown Court and today summing up began from the defence and prosecution.

After reminding the jurors of their duties, they were retired to resume their deliberations at 10:30 at Northampton Crown Court - where a verdict could be reached during Wednesday.
