Attempted Sexual Assault In Kettering

Two men have tried to sexually assault a woman who was walking on her own in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 24th April.

It happened between 00.50am and 01.10am along Northampton Road.

The offenders, who had been sitting on the grass near to the junction of Lake Avenue, started following the victim and making sexual remarks. Near to the Avery care home on Northampton Road they knocked the woman to the ground and started pulling at her clothes.

They were disturbed by a car or a van that drove past and ran off in an unknown direction.

Police say both men are aged between 18 and 21 years old and are of athletic build. One of the men was wearing a white Henlys T-Shirt.
